Scoring options

  • 1Simple mode: every fairway hit = 1 point.
  • 2Streak mode: consecutive fairways climb 1, 2, 3, and so on.
  • 3Team mode: partners combine fairway points each hole.

Variations

Make it easier

Count any tee shot that finishes safely playable as a fairway hit.

Make it harder

Require the tee shot to finish in the agreed fairway half or target window.

Optional setup

Use this as the main activity from Golf Board. Play for points, bragging rights, or simple rotation first. STUD mode is optional and the activity works without it.

Why it works

It gives every tee shot a clear target and lets accurate players build pressure without slowing the round.

Safety / fair play

Use a safe space, avoid hard contact or unsafe surfaces, adjust for age and skill, and agree on close calls before the round starts.
