Scoring options

  • 1Classic mode: last player standing wins.
  • 2Best-of-3 mode: play three hot-spot rounds and count round wins.
  • 3Team mode: teammates alternate lines and combine eliminations.

Variations

Make it easier

Use closer hot spots and let new players start with one safe practice shot.

Make it harder

Use only long-range spots or require the first make from each hot spot to be a clean jumper.

Game mode setup

Use this as the main activity from Basketball Board. Play for points, bragging rights, or simple rotation first. STUD mode is optional and the activity works without it.

Why it works

It keeps the fast knockout tension but prevents the same free-throw-line rhythm from taking over every round.

Safety / fair play

Use a safe space, avoid hard contact or unsafe surfaces, adjust for age and skill, and agree on close calls before the round starts.
