1Play a normal small-sided game, 1v1 ladder, or possession round.
2A player earns 1 challenge point for a clean nutmeg that keeps possession for their team.
3The nutmeg must pass between the defender's legs and be controlled by the attacker or a teammate.
4A forced nutmeg attempt that loses possession does not count.
5Track challenge points separately from the main game score.
6Highest challenge-point total at the end of the round wins the bonus challenge.

Scoring options
1Simple: clean nutmeg with retained possession = 1 challenge point.
2Pressure mode: failed nutmeg that gives away possession = -1.
3Team mode: add all nutmeg challenge points to the team total.
Variations
Make it easier
Count a nutmeg if the ball passes cleanly through even if possession is recovered slowly.
Make it harder
Require the attacker to complete a pass or shot within 3 seconds after the nutmeg.
Optional side-point setup
Use this as a side-point challenge by itself or alongside another Soccer Board activity. Think of side points as optional challenge points: earned side points count for you, and side points against you count against you. STUD mode is optional; agree before play on whether side points mean anything beyond the game.
Why it works
It creates one fun, recognizable skill moment without making the entire game about tricks.
Safety / fair play
Use a safe space, avoid hard contact or unsafe surfaces, adjust for age and skill, and agree on close calls before the round starts.
Call weak foot before the shot or pass. Complete it cleanly and earn 1 side point.
Earned side points count for you. Side points against you count against you. Net side points at the end and close only in the way your group agreed before play.
Miss a clear close-range chance and add 1 side point against you unless the team scores on the rebound.

Hit the post and still score on the same possession to earn 1 bonus side point.
