How to play
1Play a normal shooting game, H.O.R.S.E. round, 1v1, or pickup run.
2Before play starts, agree which shots are eligible for the swish bonus.
3A made shot that does not touch the rim earns 1 challenge point.
4Backboard makes do not count unless the shooter called bank before the shot.
5Track challenge points separately from the main score.
6Highest challenge-point total after the game or timer wins the bonus challenge.

We're adding Swish Bonus from Studboards. Play normal basketball, but every clean swish earns 1 challenge point. Track challenge points separately and highest total after the game wins the bonus. Rules: https://www.studboards.com/ideas/swish-bonus-basketball.html

Scoring options
1Simple: every clean swish earns 1 challenge point.
2Deep-shot mode: swishes from behind the arc earn 2 challenge points.
3Team mode: add every teammate's swish bonus to one shared total.
Variations
Make it easier
Count shots that barely touch the rim as clean makes for casual groups.
Make it harder
Only count called swishes or shots from an agreed spot.
Optional side-point setup
Use this as a side-point challenge by itself or alongside another Basketball Board activity. Think of side points as optional challenge points: earned side points count for you, and side points against you count against you. STUD mode is optional; agree before play on whether side points mean anything beyond the game.
Why it works
It rewards shot quality and creates quick reaction moments without interrupting the main game.
Safety / fair play
Use a safe space, avoid hard contact or unsafe surfaces, adjust for age and skill, and agree on close calls before the round starts.
Every airball adds 1 side point against the shooter. A made shot on the next attempt clears that side point against the shooter.
Earned side points count for you. Side points against you count against you. Net side points at the end and close only in the way your group agreed before play.
Miss short off the front rim and add 1 side point against you unless the shooter gets the rebound.

Call bank before shooting. Make it and earn 1 side point; forget to call it and it does not count.
