2Players must contact the lowest-numbered ball first on every legal shot.
3Any made ball counts only if the shooter called the ball and pocket before the shot.
4If a player makes the 10 legally in the called pocket, they win the rack.
5Winner breaks the next rack unless the group prefers alternate breaks.
6First player or team to win 3 racks wins the race.

Scoring options
1Short race: first to 3 racks wins.
2Beginner mode: call only the 10-ball pocket.
3Team mode: partners alternate shots within each rack.
Variations
Make it easier
Allow slop on non-10 balls, but require the 10 to be called.
Make it harder
Use strict call-shot rules for every ball and no early 10 combinations.
Optional setup
Use this as the main activity from Billiards Board. Play for points, bragging rights, or simple rotation first. STUD mode is optional and the activity works without it.
Why it works
10-ball adds clear shot planning while still keeping each rack short enough for a group night.
Safety / fair play
Use a safe space, avoid hard contact or unsafe surfaces, adjust for age and skill, and agree on close calls before the round starts.
