How to play Crazy Eights Quick Match

Step 1

On your turn, play a card matching rank or suit.

Step 2

An eight may be played as wild and names the next suit.

Step 3

If you cannot play, draw one card; if it still cannot be played, pass.

Step 4

The first player to empty their hand ends that hand; score the cards remaining in every other hand.

Scoring

How the result works

Remaining eights score 50, face cards 10, aces 1, and pip cards their face value against that player.

Example: A player plays an eight, calls hearts, and empties their hand two turns later.

Host tip

Keep it clean

Adding forced suit changes or a first-to-target finish. Use the posted three-hand, lowest-total format.

Safety: Use short rounds, visible scoring, clear turns, and the tie rule everyone agreed on.
