Safety

Safety starts before the first round.

Pick activities that fit the people, space, gear, weather, and supervision you actually have. Stop or change the rules when a setup feels unsafe.

Find something to playToken risk

Before play

Match the game to the room.

Check age, health, skill, footwear, lighting, nearby glass, stairs, traffic, water, and weather before running an activity.

  • Warm up for movement-heavy activities.
  • Keep throws soft indoors.
  • Leave walkways and doors clear.

During play

Keep the group able to stop.

Use visible boundaries, simple scoring, and a host who can pause the round when a rule, space, or player fit changes.

  • Use pool supervision around water.
  • Avoid rough contact unless the sport expects it.
  • Stop or change rules when the setup feels off.
