How to play Rapid Category Chain

Step 1

The host names a category such as foods, movies, cities, or sports.

Step 2

Players answer in order without repeating a previous answer.

Step 3

The group counts aloud to three after each turn; a repeat or missed count loses that chain point.

Step 4

Start a new category after each full lap so late arrivals can join cleanly.

Scoring

How the result works

A player or team earns 1 point for each clean full lap completed.

Example: The category is fruit; seven players answer in order, complete a clean lap, and score 1.

Host tip

Keep it clean

Choosing a category too narrow for the group. Start broad and increase difficulty only after a clean lap.

Safety: Keep the circle stationary, leave clear access for mobility devices, and do not require running or repositioning.
