How the result works
Closest ball on the green scores one point; a carryover makes the next counting par 3 worth one extra point.
Example: Everyone hits a tee shot on the counting par 3.
Keep it clean
Counting a ball off the green as closest. The shot must finish on the green unless the group chose a no-green fallback before the round.
Safety: Measure closest-to-cup only after every tee shot on the par 3 has stopped.
