How to play Numbered Gate Passing Run

Step 1

Players pass through the numbered gates in order.

Step 2

A missed gate must be replayed before moving to the next number.

Step 3

The receiving player controls the ball before the next pass.

Step 4

Run one timed attempt per pair or rotate until every pair has two attempts.

How the result works

Fastest clean time wins. Add 3 seconds for a skipped or incorrectly played gate.

Example: A pair clears gates 1 through 4 but misses gate 5, replays it, and finishes in 38 seconds.

Host tip

Keep it clean

Letting players count a pass that clips the outside marker. The ball must pass fully through the gate.

Safety: Keep gates wide enough for controlled passes and clear the lane before each attempt.
