Colossians 3:12-17
Put On Love, Peace, the Word of Christ, and Gratitude
Chosen people put on love, let peace rule, and let Christ's word dwell.
As God's chosen ones, holy and loved, they put on compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. They bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint, forgive as the Lord has forgiven them. Above all these they put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
The peace of Christ is to rule in their hearts, because they were called in one body, and they are to be thankful. The word of Christ is to dwell in them richly as they teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with thankfulness. Whatever they do, in word or deed, they do in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
