Ephesians 3:1–13

The Revealed Mystery and Paul's Ministry

The mystery is shared inheritance, not a secret club.

Paul is a prisoner of Christ for the sake of the Gentiles. The now-revealed mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. His suffering is for their glory, not a reason to lose heart.

Do not turn mystery into insider trivia. The point is that people once kept out are brought in by the same Christ. Take courage from a gospel large enough to include you without shrinking anyone else.

How this should shape us

When someone your church used to keep at the edge is now family in Christ, treat that as the revealed mystery, not as insider trivia. Do not lose heart because belonging costs the messenger something.
