Wheels within Wheels Move with the Living Creatures
Wheels within wheels rise with the creatures
Behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces. The appearance of the wheels and their work is like unto the color of a beryl, and they four have one likeness: a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
When they go, they go upon their four sides; they turn not as they go. Their rings are so high that they are dreadful, and their rings are full of eyes round about. When the living creatures go, the wheels go; when those are lifted up, the wheels are lifted up.
The spirit of the living creature is in the wheels
Whithersoever the spirit is to go, they go; thither is the spirit to go. The wheels lift in parallel because the same life is in them. Eyes and intersecting rims picture awareness and motion, not a gadget.
The wheels do not encode spacecraft, modern surveillance, secret technology, or a reproducible visionary method. Full of eyes is not a camera grid. The throne's approach is living, not mechanical.
How this should shape us
Read the wheels as the same life that moves the creatures, not as a machine to copy. Do not baptize surveillance, and do not treat a vision report as an engineering diagram.
