Read verses 9–13. Their oath produces urgency, the steward searches the opened sacks in controlled order, and the discovery with Benjamin overturns their expectation.
Why It Needs Context
Opening the sacks permits the staged evidence to be seen; it does not prove they consented to an unjust process or knew what the search would reveal.
