Leviticus 23:23-25
A seventh-month horn memorial summons rest and offering
The seventh month opens with a horn and a stop
In the seventh month, on the first day, Israel has a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. They do no servile work and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
The day is a summons inside Israel's year, marking the turn toward the tenth day's atonement and the later booths. It is rest, memory, sound, and offering.
The horn is not a secret timetable
This memorial does not encode a Christian rapture date, an election forecast, or a hidden key to wars and markets. Later Jewish and Christian uses of trumpet imagery remain reception. They do not rewrite Leviticus 23:24 into a code.
How this should shape us
Receive the first of the seventh month as Israel's rest and alarm of memory, not as a chart for predicting the end. Let a holy sound call people to gather and stop, not to speculate.
