Fruit exposes false prophetic claims
Fruit, not the brand of prophet
Watch for false prophets who wear sheep's clothing. A healthy tree bears good fruit; a diseased tree cannot. The test is not charisma. On that day some will claim prophecy, exorcism, and mighty works in Jesus' name and still hear "I never knew you."
Lawlessness can wear religious success. Knowing Jesus means doing the Father's will, not collecting spiritual trophies. Words and wonders without obedience are not a covering. Fruit requires sustained ethical discernment; rumor is not discernment, and spectacular claims do not authenticate themselves.
How this should shape us
Inspect the trail a teacher leaves: money habits, treatment of the weak, truth-telling, and whether people become more like Jesus or more like fans. If your own résumé of religious activity is thick and your actual will is thin, stop performing and start obeying the next clear command.
