Verse 38. ³⁸ And because of all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, Levites, and priests, seal unto it.

Verse 1. ¹ Now those that sealed were, Nehemiah, the Tirshatha, the son of Hachaliah, and Zidkijah,

Verse 2. ² Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah,

Verse 3. ³ Pashur, Amariah, Malchijah,

Verse 4. ⁴ Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch,

Verse 5. ⁵ Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,

Verse 6. ⁶ Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,

Verse 7. ⁷ Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin,

Verse 8. ⁸ Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah: these were the priests.

Verse 9. ⁹ And the Levites: both Jeshua the son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;

Verse 10. ¹⁰ And their brethren, Shebaniah, Hodijah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,

Verse 11. ¹¹ Micha, Rehob, Hashabiah,

Verse 12. ¹² Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah,

Verse 13. ¹³ Hodijah, Bani, Beninu.

Verse 14. ¹⁴ The chief of the people; Parosh, Pahath-moab, Elam, Zatthu, Bani,

Verse 15. ¹⁵ Bunni, Azgad, Bebai,

Verse 16. ¹⁶ Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin,

Verse 17. ¹⁷ Ater, Hizkijah, Azzur,

Verse 18. ¹⁸ Hodijah, Hashum, Bezai,

Verse 19. ¹⁹ Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai,

Verse 20. ²⁰ Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir,
