Half-life in the body
Human PTD-DBM skin residence and parent-plasma half-life are not established by the reviewed evidence.
The 2017 and 2023 papers establish pathway, cell and mouse topical effects. Their concentrations and application intervals are experimental regimens, not measurements of human clearance.
This bounded review cannot prove no human PK study exists. Different peptide constructs, vehicles, microneedling and gray-market products prevent transfer of any unstated tissue-residence assumption.
