Thanksgiving Remembers Faith, Love, Hope, and the Gospel's Arrival
Thanksgiving traces faith, love, and hope by what they do.
The team thanks God for all the Thessalonians and remembers them in prayer. Faith is known by its work, love by its labor, and hope by its endurance before the Lord Jesus. These are not private moods ranked against other congregations, and God, not the missionaries, receives the praise.
They call the church loved and chosen because of how the gospel arrived: not in word only, but in power, the Holy Ghost, much assurance, and conduct the church already knows. Election is evidence of God's love, not a badge against outsiders or a hidden list of winners.
How this should shape us
Give thanks to God for one concrete act of trust, one costly care, and one pattern of endurance. Measure messengers by whether their lives match their words, and refuse to turn chosen into a ranking system.
